We built the score we wanted to be measured by

Onomaris.AI is a Buffalo, New York company working on one problem: small businesses are invisible to the AI assistants their customers now ask first.

Why We Exist

The gap nobody was measuring

Ask ChatGPT who the best commercial roofer in your county is. You will get an answer — a confident, specific, single answer. For most local businesses, that answer names someone else, and there is no report anywhere telling them why.

Search marketing had a language for this: rankings, impressions, click-through. Answer engines have none of it. There is no position three in a chat response. Either the assistant is confident enough to name you, or you were never in the conversation.

So we built the Authority Index™ — a 0-100 score for how confidently AI can understand and recommend a business. It borrows its shape from the credit score deliberately: one number, published factors, and a path to improve it that anyone can follow.

How We Work

Four commitments

These are the things we will not trade away for a faster close.

A number, or it did not happen

Every engagement opens with an Authority Index™ score and is judged by whether that score moves. No vanity dashboards, no "brand awareness" line items.

Published weights

The seven factors and their weights are on the methodology page. You should be able to predict roughly what a fix is worth before we do it.

Own your own fixes

The snapshot report is yours whether or not you hire us. A fair number of owners take it and do the work themselves. That is a legitimate outcome.

No overnight claims

Citations and schema move in weeks; authority and content compound over a quarter. We would rather set a real timeline than win a deal on a fake one.

Based in Buffalo, working nationally

We started with Western New York service businesses because they are our neighbours and because local intent is where AI recommendations bite hardest. The methodology travels.
